On April 17, Sinolight Corporation ("Sinolight") and Haier Group Corporation ("Haier Group") signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Qingdao. Zhao Guo'ang, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Sinolight and Chairman of China Haisum, and Liang Haishan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Haier Group, witnessed the signing ceremony and held discussions on deepening cooperation. Sun Bo, Deputy General Manager of Sinolight, and Wang Ye, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Haier Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.
Zhao Guo'ang spoke highly of Haier Group's world-leading strength, its position as an IoT ecosystem brand, and its advantages in global operations. He noted that Sinolight and its subsidiary China Haisum have established a solid foundation and long-standing partnership with Haier Group, laying strong groundwork for long-term strategic collaboration. Sinolight possesses full lifecycle service capabilities spanning scientific research and design, smart engineering, intelligent equipment, and digital operations and maintenance. The two sides share strong synergies and broad cooperation potential in such domains as smart factory development, frontier material R&D and commercialization, green circular economy, and overseas engineering. By breaking boundaries and leveraging complementary strengths, the two will work together to address industry challenges, foster new quality productive forces in the light industry, and contribute greater momentum to the high-quality development of China's light industry.
Liang Haishan welcomed the delegation from Sinolight and spoke highly of the deep expertise and influence gathered by the group and its subsidiary China Haisum in the light industry. He noted that Haier Group has established a strong presence in smart home solutions, wellness, digital economy, robotics, new energy, automotive ecosystems, and other fields, while stepping up efforts in the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing, innovation in critical materials, green and low-carbon transition, and global development.
