Leaders' Remarks

Yu Xiaodong pointed out that this conference marked Poly Sinolight's first systematic review of its business from the "dual-carbon" perspective. He emphasized that all subsidiaries should seize policy opportunities and build collective strength through coordinated efforts. Yu also noted that "dual-carbon" initiatives come with clear data and indicator requirements, making them a key driver for advancing green transformation. The Company must keep abreast of government policy directions and capitalize on emerging market opportunities. Poly Sinolight should further strengthen internal collaboration, pool resources across different sectors, and deepen the integration with intelligent manufacturing and AI technologies to address gaps and generate continuous returns. Each subsidiary should sharpen its own capabilities and pursue proactive, sustainable collaborative empowerment for win-win outcomes.

In his concluding speech, Zhao Guo'ang stressed that Poly Sinolight should thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's vision of green development and the national "dual-carbon" strategy. By leveraging "green" as a "golden key" to unlock market opportunities, the Company should establish a systematic "dual-carbon" business framework across strategies, technologies, industries, and businesses. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the Company should center on the following three aspects:

First, focus on core strengths and build a diversified development model for "dual-carbon" businesses.

The Company should strengthen product capabilities, make breakthroughs in key technologies, and develop green products; build up its service system by establishing a "dual-carbon" technology service portfolio across the full lifecycle; and follow standards, actively expand high-level certification capabilities, and upgrade service models.

Second, leverage AI to expand application scenarios for "dual-carbon" businesses.

The Company should provide "AI + carbon accounting and certification" services, translating complex rules into standardized service products; develop "AI + energy and carbon diagnostics" services, lowering the barriers to low-carbon transformation through cost-effective, lightweight delivery models; and build "AI + green supply chain" services, upgrading from a single technology provider into an integrated solution provider for supply chain carbon management.

Third, strengthen coordination and improve mechanisms for "dual-carbon" business development.

The Company should reinforce policy incentives, leverage platform resources, keep pace with global green development trends, and push forward industry-academia-research cooperation at home and abroad. It should identify opportunities for business synergy and establish a full industrial-chain "dual-carbon" business system covering "R&D, design, production, testing, and services".

Relevant departments of Poly Sinolight, representatives from subsidiaries, and key business personnel attended the meeting.
